POLITICAL VOICES

Political participation & representation of ethnical minorities

Giving a voice to the excluded

Leaders have fought for the inclusion of minority groups in the processes of decision making, making sure that they were politically integrated in the Constitution, aptly represented by a constituency in parliament and that they were safe from discriminatory treatment.

They have given a voice to the excluded and have encouraged dialogue between minorities and institutions, in order for them to feel integrated, listened and valued in their societies.
