Alex is the Research Assistant in the Programme Department, where he contributes to content-related and organisational tasks across the organisation’s flagship projects, including the Annual Policy Dialogue and the Global Commission on Democracy and Multilateralism. His background and interests in geopolitics, democratic governance, and financing initiatives closely align with the organisation’s mission. Before rejoining the organisation, Alex completed an internship in the same department.
Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath, where he completed his undergraduate dissertation on central bank independence and monetary policy effectiveness in emerging markets. Throughout his studies, he actively participated in the Politics and Finance Societies by contributing to projects and attending industry events. Alex is now pursuing the CFA Charterholder designation, aiming to deepen his knowledge in economic themes, multinational organisations, and government policy.
