She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires, a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Management, and Health Policy from the National University of Lanús, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Collective Health at the same institution.
She served as Secretary for Socio-Health Policies and Comprehensive Interventions for the Municipality of Morón, where she established one of Argentina’s first specialized municipal teams dedicated to addressing gender-based violence and advancing local gender equality policies.
In 2013, she was elected to the Senate of the Province of Buenos Aires representing the Front for Victory (Frente para la Victoria). During her term, she chaired the Human Rights Committee and created the Legislative Human Rights Forum of the province.
In 2017, she was elected to the National Chamber of Deputies for the Province of Buenos Aires on the Unidad Ciudadana ticket and was re-elected in 2021 representing the Frente de Todos, serving until December 2025. She chaired the Women and Diversity Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.
In 2018, she co-authored the bill to legalize Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy (IVE), which became law in 2020, making abortion legal in Argentina.
In 2025, she was elected once again to the Senate of the Province of Buenos Aires, where she currently serves.
