Arquitecta y urbanista costarricense, con maestría en Planificación y Estudios Urbanos del MIT y beca Loeb de la Universidad de Harvard. Cuenta con más de 15 años de experiencia en sostenibilidad, cambio climático y desarrollo territorial, liderando proyectos de infraestructura en América Latina, el Caribe y Estados Unidos. Fue Primera Dama de Costa Rica (2018-2022), donde coordinó el Plan Nacional de Descarbonización. En 2026 fue candidata presidencial por la Coalición Agenda Ciudadana (PAC-ADN) y actualmente es diputada de la Asamblea Legislativa por San José. Sus temas son el cambio climático y la descarbonización, la planificación urbana y movilidad sostenible, la vivienda social y el desarrollo territorial.
Costa Rican architect and urban planner, with a master’s degree in City Planning and Urban Studies from MIT and a Loeb Fellowship from Harvard University. She has more than 15 years of experience in sustainability, climate change, and territorial development, leading infrastructure projects across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. She served as First Lady of Costa Rica (2018–2022), where she coordinated the National Decarbonization Plan. In 2026, she was the presidential candidate for the Citizen Agenda Coalition (PAC–ADN) and currently serves as a member of the Legislative Assembly representing San José. Her areas of expertise include climate change and decarbonization, urban planning and sustainable mobility, social housing, and territorial development.
