Earlier this year, the Club de Madrid had firmly condemned the coup d’état that took place in Mali and called on all parties to show responsibility to ensure respect for human dignity, democratic principles and the integrity of the country and to guarantee the immediate restoration of constitutional order and the effective holding of the impending democratic elections.
