From 2021 to 2023, she served as Spokesperson for the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Spanish Senate. Previously, she was a member of the Parliament of Catalonia from 2010 to 2021.
Between 2002 and 2010, she was a member of the National Executive Committee of the General Union of Workers of Catalonia (UGT Catalunya), representing the organization on both the Labour, Economic and Social Council of Catalonia and Spain’s Economic and Social Council.
She also worked in the field of corporate social responsibility at Alstom from 2007 to 2010 and has been on leave from the company since entering full-time public service.
Her political work has focused on strengthening social protection, promoting employment, and advancing Spain’s shared national project. During her university years, she helped establish the University of Barcelona Solidarity Foundation, an organization dedicated to the promotion and defense of human rights.
She holds a degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from the University of Barcelona and an Executive Master’s degree in Public Management from ESADE Business School.
