Campbell and Robinson co-chaired this inaugural meeting, which is part of a 3-year project launched with the support of the Governments of Norway and Germany. This initiative takes a strategic approach to harnessing the differences of female leadership at national, personal, professional and cultural levels –tapping a rich melting pot of ideas and activity across multiple skill sets and areas of expertise for transforming conflict.
Workshop activities included intensive training, thematic group work and high-level roundtable discussion to produce specific policy and action recommendations aimed at increasing the presence and impact of women in decision-making and peace processes in the Horn of Africa.
