Abogada de la Universidad de Panamá, con posgrado en Contratos y Daños de la Universidad de Salamanca, una maestría en Propiedad Intelectual de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, y estudios de especialización en Docencia Superior y en Gestión y Auditoría Ambiental. Es titulada además del Global Competitiveness Leadership Program de Georgetown University. Antes de su carrera política se desempeñó como Directora Ejecutiva de la Fundación Nacional de Pesca y Directora de Asesoría Legal de la Autoridad de los Recursos Acuáticos de Panamá. Ingresó a la Asamblea Nacional en 2019 como diputada suplente independiente del circuito 8-3, de la mano del diputado Gabriel Silva. Durante ese período integró la Comisión de la Mujer, la Niñez, la Juventud y la Familia, donde colaboró en la investigación sobre irregularidades del SENNIAF, y participó en la Comisión de Gobierno, Justicia y Asuntos Constitucionales durante la discusión del proyecto de cambio constitucional de 2019. Impulsó junto a otros legisladores y organizaciones de la sociedad civil la Ley 213, que establece protecciones laborales para trabajadoras con endometriosis. En 2024 fue electa diputada principal del circuito 8-3 por libre postulación, dentro de la coalición independiente Vamos, que se convirtió en la mayor bancada de la Asamblea. Actualmente es vicepresidenta de la Comisión de Ambiente e integra la Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores. Sus principales banderas son la transparencia, la lucha anticorrupción, el medioambiente, los derechos de las mujeres y la representación afrodescendiente en la política panameña.


She holds a Law degree from the University of Panama, a postgraduate degree in Contracts and Damages from the University of Salamanca, a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property from Carlos III University of Madrid, and specialized studies in Higher Education Teaching and Environmental Management and Auditing. She is also a graduate of the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program at Georgetown University. Before entering politics, she served as Executive Director of the National Fisheries Foundation and Director of Legal Affairs at the Panama Aquatic Resources Authority. She entered the National Assembly in 2019 as an independent alternate legislator for Electoral Circuit 8-3, alongside Congressman Gabriel Silva. During that term, she served on the Committee on Women, Children, Youth, and the Family, where she contributed to the investigation into irregularities at SENNIAF (the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents, and the Family). She also served on the Committee on Government, Justice, and Constitutional Affairs during the debate over the 2019 constitutional reform proposal. Together with fellow legislators and civil society organizations, she championed Law 213, which establishes labor protections for workers with endometriosis. In 2024, she was elected as the principal legislator for Electoral Circuit 8-3 through an independent candidacy, as part of the Vamos independent coalition, which became the largest bloc in the National Assembly. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Environment Committee and is also a member of the Foreign Relations Committee. Her main areas of work are transparency, anti-corruption, environmental protection, women’s rights, and the political representation of Afro-descendant communities in Panama.
