Adam is the Research Assistant in the Programme Department, where he contributes to both content-related and organisational tasks across the organisation’s flagship projects, including the Annual Policy Dialogue and the Imperial Springs International Forum, among other initiatives. His background and interests in geopolitics and democratic governance closely align with the organisation’s mission. Before re-joining the organisation, Adam completed an internship in the same department.
Prior to this, he carried out an internship at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki during Finland’s accession process to NATO. In Madrid, he interned at Helsinki España, a human rights organisation focused on conflict prevention and peace-promotion projects. He also collaborated with the Strategic Analysis think tank on a project related to the Balkan region, contributing to current affairs analysis and the drafting of policy briefs.
Adam holds a BA in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen, where he spent one semester as an exchange student at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He later completed an MA in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he was an active member of Fridays for Future and later served on the board of the Green Office of the University, coordinating projects related to sustainability.
