Gomin Camacho is a seasoned development professional with over a decade of experience in Guyana, working at both the grassroots and policy levels. Her expertise lies in project management and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration to drive meaningful change.
Throughout her career, she has built extensive knowledge and strong networks across various sectors, including the extractive industries, financial transparency, environmental and youth development, public diplomacy, and international affairs.
A trailblazer in her field, Gomin has consistently challenged gender norms, assuming leadership roles at a young age. She previously served as Head of Public Diplomacy within Guyana’s Foreign Ministry and is the Founder and Director of the Guyana Environment Initiative—a female-driven organization dedicated to environmental education.
Currently, she serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ethnic Relations Commission – Guyana, where she works to foster peaceful and respectful relations among the country’s diverse communities.
