Club de Madrid strongly condemns the reported revocation of the ordinary passport of Cellou Dalein Diallo, former Prime Minister of Guinea (2004–2006) and Member of Club de Madrid, which prevented him from travelling from Abidjan to New York to participate in the activities taking place on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Club de Madrid calls on the Guinean authorities to restore Prime Minister Diallo’s right to travel freely and to ensure full respect for all his fundamental rights.
