The Club de Madrid supports this negotiations to achieve a legally binding agreement by 2015, and to this aim shares with Figueres the sense of urgency needed in this process – to ensure that the agreement is reached, negotiations need to advance in the next months to have a draft negotiating document by the end of next year.
After this meeting the Executive Secretary held an interviwed with El Pais. In her covnersation with the the spanish newspaper she addressed the need and the urgency of implementing the much needed policies to face the climate change and made a clear statement in favour of the clean and green energies
