The former President of Ghana stresses in his message the need for a “human centered development while attaining the sustainability of our planet”. 2015 will be a crucial year as “the Millenieum Development Goals will be transitioning to the Post 2015 Sustainable Development Goals and the Climate Change agreeement has to be concluded by the end of the same year”. This accord must next December in Paris “should cover deforestation and investment in renewables to tackle Climate Change while opening new industries and employment opportunities”. The UN Climate Change Special Envoy clearly states in his message that the “interest of the developing countries must be included in a climate change agreement for which mankind “can not wait any longer”
