Gabriela Posso Restrepo, the Presidential Advisor for Youth of Colombia, is a 27-year-old woman from Cali with a solid background in Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle and specialization in International Cooperation and Development Projects from the Externado University of Colombia. Throughout her career, she has stood out as a youth leader in various areas of student and youth participation at the national level.
In her career, she has held important roles, such as being appointed by the Universidad del Valle (Cali headquarters), to the Steering Committee of the National Union of Higher Education Students (UNEES) in 2018. In addition, she was elected on December 5, 2021 as Municipal Youth Councilor from the “Unión Popular Cali en Resistencia” list, which obtained the highest vote nationwide. Later, she was elected as President of the Municipal Youth Council of Cali, Valle del Cauca.
Gabriela has also stood out for her work as volunteer coordinator in Gustavo Petro’s campaign in the Valle del Cauca 2022, as well as for her role as coordinator of the joining process in the intersectoral youth table of President Gustavo Petro for the period 2022-2026.
Regarding her professional experience, it is worth highlighting her work at Ecopetrol between 2020 and 2021. In addition, she has played a significant role as Presidential Youth Advisor from 2022 to 2024 in the Popular Government of Gustavo Petro.
