On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Teatro Niccolini in Florence will host an exceptional evening dialogue between two leading voices in global politics: Michelle Bachelet, President of Chile (2006–2010 and 2014–2018) and Vice-President of Club de Madrid, and Kim Campbell, former Prime Minister of Canada, Member of Club de Madrid and co-founder of the Council of Women World Leaders.
The event, presented by Club de Madrid and the Council of Women World Leaders, in collaboration with FirenzeOnStage and the European University Institute (EUI), will explore women’s leadership, democracy, and global governance in an ever-changing world. The conversation will start at 8:30 PM and admission will be free until capacity is reached. Attendees can reserve their seat by emailing teatroniccolini@firenzeonstage.com. The organisers are also assessing the feasibility of providing simultaneous translation.
This Florence gathering offers an extraordinary opportunity to reflect on women’s political leadership, inclusion, and the strengthening of democratic values through dialogue and shared experience.
