In the fifth episode of the ‘Democracy in Practice’ series, Sergio Ramírez, Writer and Vice President of Nicaragua (1985-1990), and Cristina Manzano, EsGlobal Director and Representative of Club de Madrid’s Constituent Foundation, discuss the collapse of Nicaraguan democracy in recent years. The Ortega regime, in an attempt to silence dissent and infinging human rights, recently issued an arrest warrant for Mr Ramírez.
