The discussions centered on how to improve transatlantic relations, the idea of a common defence space in Europe, cybersecurity and current terrorist threats.
As the Forum itself explains, nowadays there are military and non-military threats, and security issues are at the top of the political agenda. The lesser presence of America in Europe and the lessening defence spending by some European countries has made Central Europe a key player in the field.
