The objective of this institutional visit was to share key messages on women empowerment and meet with local authorities in order to open new communications with the Government of this country. Our Members had bilateral meetings with H.E. President Ilham Heydar, as well as with the Minister of Diaspora, where they discussed the political and economic situation in the country and the region. Likewise, both Members spoke at Baku University on the importance of the Education of the Youth, where the importance of women empowerment for the complete fulfillment of the social capital potential of any society was highlighted.
They also both participated as speakers at the Baku Humanitarian Forum (4-5 October) sharing their view on global challenges in the 21st century on how to enhance women social, economic and political participation
