The purpose of the Conference was to identify specific recommendations to present to the G20 Presidency on the best way to design a new and sustainable economic system within the context of the continuing effects of the global economic crisis. Club of Madrid participation in this conference served to share the recommendations presented to the G20 Korean Presidency last year and gather new input for the recommendations that will be presented to President Sarkozy this year before the G20 Summit
